Bhumika Rajpurohit, MS, PT

Bhumika graduated with Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, from K J Somaiya College of Physical Therapy, India. She received a scholarship in first year as well for her distinction in Kinesiology and Electrotherapy as well. She is also certified in Kinesio Taping from HPE UK. She has completed her Master of Sciences in Exercise physiology and Kinesiology From Dallas Baptist University. During the course of four years and six months of undergraduate college, Bhumika got a chance to learn and gain experience in all the different departments of Physical Therapy. 

Bhumika is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist, whose young and blooming career is defined by a profound commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals through the restoration of physical function and mobility. During her Six months Internship period she served in Government medical facilities as well as Rural areas of India and in the state of Maharashtra. She has worked with Postpartum womens rehab, Sports rehabilitation patients and geriatrics patients as well. Bhumika has also done a private internship under one of the most renowned Physical Therapist in mumbai for a period of two months along with her College internship. There, she not only gained ethical knowledge, but also got a chance to improve her communication skills and learn client-centered counseling. 

Bhumika has not only worked in Outpatient settings but has served in ICU units for Cardiac and pulmonary patients as well in Bhabha Municipal hospital and KJ Somaiya Hospital. She has also worked during the COVID pandemic in pulmonary care units in KJ Somaiya Hospital and aided 

in the recovery of several covid patients as well. In out-patient settings she has got an opportunity to treat cancer patients as well and also had a chance to lead recreational class and fitness classes of YOGA, Zumba, Aerobics. She has also done an online diploma in Nutrition studies and Pilates Basics during her Bachelors. 

Known for her empathetic and patient-centered approach, Bhumika establishes strong connections with patients, creating a supportive and encouraging environment for their recovery. Whether working with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, Bhumika employs a holistic approach, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of rehabilitation. She is a travel enthusiast and has been to Various countries as well. After a couple continuous academic years and achieving all her goals, she looks forward to more opportunities to travel to different countries and gain more experience.
