Benjamin Matalon earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, where he also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to joining Spear, Benjamin worked in Florida at an athletic development center with a focus on integrating physical therapy and performance training.
Throughout his clinical training, Benjamin worked in diverse communities with a special interest in chronic pain and rehabilitation. His clinical practice is focused on addressing pain and injury within a collaborative and goal-oriented approach. His passion is helping people return to their lives pain-free. He believes that with thoughtful guidance, ongoing support, personalized education, and clear communication, he can help people increase their well-being and decrease their pain, disease, and dysfunction.
You can find Ben outside of the clinic with his rescue tripod dog, Scarlett. They are likely going for a walk, reading a book, and occasionally chasing a squirrel. Ben enjoys staying active with climbing, hiking, cycling, and kettlebell training.
