Ben earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to receiving his Doctorate, Ben obtained his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Gerontology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

While in undergraduate studies, Ben played lacrosse for Brigham Young University, coached high school varsity lacrosse, worked at a residential treatment center for teenage boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and for several years as a personal trainer. Ben has worked with a wide variety of athletes and helped them achieve their personal health and wellness goals.

In clinical rotations, Ben worked with a wide variety of operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions, as well as multiple treatment methodologies in several outpatient orthopedic environments. During his graduate studies, he volunteered in teaching courses on Blood Flow Restriction and its use in rehabilitation, training, and injury prevention. Ben strongly believes in treating and working with his patients comprehensively using evidenced-based practice to help them attain and maintain their best quality of life.

Ben stays busy with weightlifting, running, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, canoeing, wood working, and spending time with his wife and two *very* energetic daughters.
