Ashli earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with minors in Strength and Conditioning and Coaching Science from the University of Delaware. While at Delaware, Ashli was a McNair Scholar and a proud member of the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee club.
Ashli’s clinical experience includes outpatient orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics and acute care. Her current clinical interests include orthopedics, women’s health and sports rehabilitation. Ashli is Pelvic Floor 1 certified through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation.
Ashli’s passion for physical therapy became clear after her grandfather suffered a stroke in her senior year of high school. She attended his PT sessions and quickly discovered the rewarding work that physical therapists do on a daily basis. She immediately changed her major and has never looked back. Ashli has a unique understanding of her patients, as she herself required physical therapy for stress fractures in both of her shins. Although she was sidelined for a time, she was able to return stronger and faster as a result of her dedication to rehabilitation through PT. Her goal as a physical therapist is to improve the quality of life for her patients, while making PT both productive and fun.
In her free time Ashli stays active by hiking, weight lifting, golfing, and snowboarding. She also enjoys concerts, live sporting events, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Ashli is originally from New Jersey and is excited for a new adventure in New York City.
