Ashley Rozek is the Clinical Director of, and Physical Therapist at, Spear’s Grand Central – 3rd Ave location. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University and her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Her clinical experience includes orthopedics, post-operative injuries, sports rehabilitation and neuro-rehabilitation. Ashley is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an active member of the APTA.

From a young age, Ashley has always participated in sports including soccer, basketball, dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She was a competitive cheerleader in high school and college and was the president of her college cheerleading team at Virginia Tech. Ashley attributes her initial interest of physical therapy from being a patient herself after suffering multiple sports related knee and ankle surgeries and injuries. From her own rehabilitation experience, Ashley understands the challenges and hardships of recovering from an injury.

Ashley is passionate about working with and helping her patients get back to doing what they love. Ashley believes in treating her patients through evidence-based practice, as well as through utilization of education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises. Her goal is to help her patients find their own strength, mobility, and confidence through physical therapy so that they obtain the best quality of life possible.

Raised right outside of Washington D.C., Ashley considers herself a true New Yorker now as she has lived in NYC for almost a decade. In her free time, Ashley loves to travel, spend time with friends and family and enjoy all the wonderful things NYC has to offer!
