Ashley earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University and her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Her clinical experience includes orthopedics, sports rehabilitation and neuro-rehabilitation. Ashley is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an active member of the APTA. Since joining the SPEAR team, Ashley has gotten more involved with patients with pelvic and low back pain and has recently started teaching Pelvicore classes.
During her time at Virginia Tech, Ashley competed and was the president of the university’s competitive cheerleading team. She was also an active member of a Greek organization, Relay for Life and the Physical Therapy Club.
Ashley attributes her initial interest in physical therapy from being a patient herself after suffering multiple knee and ankle injuries. Ashley is passionate about working with and helping her patients get back to doing what they love. Her goal is to help her patients find their own strength, mobility, and confidence through physical therapy.
Raised right outside of Washington D.C., Ashley has enjoyed adapting to life in New York City and spends her time exploring new neighborhoods and discovering all the many things the city has to offer.
