Anne Riley Jenks, PTA
Anne Riley Jenks received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree with honors from Pima Medical Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada and she matriculated at the University of California at Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Italian Studies and a minor in Theater Arts with a concentration in Dance.
In her professional career, Anne Riley has worked with a diverse patient population and is experienced in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions such as surgical patients, return to sport athletes, vestibular and concussion patients, debility and rare conditions including Guillian-Barre. She prides herself on inspiring her patients to be patient, work hard and to be resilient while recovering.
Anne Riley’s years in sport and movement piqued her interest in body mechanics and sparked her career in physical therapy. She was a USFSA competitive figure skater, field hockey, gymnastics, and lacrosse varsity athlete and competed in the Empire State Games in field hockey. Being a professional dancer, a member of various dance companies, and teacher for Arthur Murray, solidified her realization that coming back from injury though sometimes arduous is a necessity for health and quality of life as well as satisfying and exhilarating. In her free time, Anne Riley enjoys going to museums, cycling, being in nature and exploring national parks, and crafting, baking and reading.
