Amy received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, graduating with honors. At Columbia, Amy completed advanced courses in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stern College, where she graduated summa cum laude, and enjoyed participating in intramural basketball and various community service and educational initiatives.
Amy’s interest in physical therapy stems from her passion of combining her love of science and applying it to enhancing people’s recovery and improving their function. She believes in a holistic approach that focuses on analyzing and improving everyday and sports movement patterns, in addition to improving flexibility and strength. Amy has had experience in outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, and subacute settings in the New York and Chicago areas.
Born and raised in Chicago, Amy has enjoyed transitioning to New York City life. In her free time, she likes playing tennis, biking, and running, as well as playing piano, taking walks outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
