Amisha earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences after completing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at High Point University. During her studies, Amisha gained a greater appreciation for the impact physical therapy can provide by restoring function and improving one’s overall quality of life without the use of medicine.
During her clinical experience, Amisha worked with a wide variety of patient populations, conditions, and treatments. She spent time at multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics where she gained exposure to various orthopedic conditions, sport-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal cases. Amisha has also immersed herself in home health settings, treating and educating neurological, cardiopulmonary, and aging patients. Her approach to treating her patients includes being collaborative by working together on the treatment plan to reach patient goals.
Outside of the clinic, Amisha enjoys traveling, hiking at national parks, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
