Amarinder received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John’s University. Her interest in pursuing Physical Therapy stems from her desire to play a key role in helping people achieve their goals so they can return to safer and healthier daily lives. She is dedicated to providing attentive, high quality, and individualized care to every patient she treats. She was a platform speaker at the Combined Sections Meeting in 2017 and presented the findings of her research project with her group for the Acute Care Rehabilitation Forum.
She acquired her clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, manual techniques, functional training, aquatics, pediatrics, sub-acute, skilled nursing, and inpatient acute settings. She utilizes skills from various settings to formulate a care plan that targets all her patients’ needs and always provides encouragement to keep her patient’s confident and motivated.
Amarinder enjoys spending time away from the hustle and bustle of NYC by reconnecting with nature through meditation, hiking, and biking. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with animals, skydiving, learning new art forms, and sunset chasing.
