Alexis Lyons, PT, DPT, OCS
Alexis earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Movement Science from her home state, Pennsylvania, from Penn State University.
Prior to working at SPEAR, Alexis worked in a sub-acute rehab treating patients with a variety of diagnoses, including post-op joint replacements and ligament repairs, strokes, amputations, and those affected by Covid-19. She also recently completed her Champion-Performance Specialist (C-PS) certification to improve the quality of care she provides to patients by restoring, optimizing, enhancing, and maintaining their performance.
Outside of work, Alexis loves watching and supporting her Philadelphia sports teams, participating in recreational basketball leagues, and biking around the city. She is excited to learn more about New York City and hopes to be able to successfully navigate the subway system and watch as many Broadway shows as she can.
