Alanah received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts. She graduated from NYU as a member of the Occupational Therapy Honor Society and held several leadership roles in department organizations.
During her clinical year of graduate school, Alanah gained experience with various orthopedic, neurological, and cognitive impairments. She treated many upper extremity conditions such as osteoarthritis, fractures, wounds, tendon and nerve injuries, pre and post-operative conditions, and amputations. Outside of her studies, Alanah has gained supplemental knowledge in
biomechanics through her work as a personal fitness trainer as well as a caretaker of individuals with TBI. Alanah believes in providing client-centered care, applying evidence-based practice to treatment, and cultivating therapeutic relationships built on trust and support.
Including New York, Alanah considers Colorado and western Massachusetts her three homes. She enjoys backpacking, biking, lifting weights, snowboarding, and is a self-employed digital artist and photographer.
