Aakanksha Bhagwat, PT, MPT
Aakanksha earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from University of Indianapolis, Indiana and a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. She is LSVT BIG certified and also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Aakanksha’s passion for physical therapy comes from her belief that functional movement is the key for being healthy. In the last 5 years, she has gained experience working with; pre and post surgical rehabilitation patients, neurological conditions, chronic pain management, fall prevention and sub-acute rehabilitation. During her undergraduate studies, Aakanksha completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic care, cardiac rehabilitation, burn rehabilitation, and pediatrics. She continues to enhance her knowledge and professional skills by attending annual training/certifications and treatment technique seminars. Aakanksha gains fulfillment from connecting with patients and having a positive impact in their lives.
She loves to travel with friends and family. She enjoys hiking and exploring National Parks & new cities. She also enjoys exploring various cuisines and loves to read.
