Zulal Ozan, PT, MS

Zulal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey, and a Master’s degree in Physiology from the Faculty of Medicine at Düzce University. Her Master’s research included thesis work on hormone-related experiments using rats, and her initial thesis focused on sport injury preventative exercise. Alongside her studies, Zulal spent two years as a research assistant, attending courses in cardiophysiology, pulmonary physiology, and muscle physiology. She is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Tennessee Wesleyan University.

Zulal has different experiences in physical therapy, including one year of volunteering at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) in Finland, where she contributed to rehabilitation initiatives within the robotics department. Her responsibilities involved providing early-stage rehabilitation to newborns in a pediatric neonatal intensive care unit and conducting pulmonary and endurance tests for firefighters. At Yeditepe University Hospital, she gained experience assisting in orthopedic surgeries and has pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation experience. Additionally, she holds certifications in dry needling and cupping therapy, enhancing her manual therapy skills.

Outside of her professional life, Zulal is passionate about music and travel. She plays both the piano and violin, continuously improving her skills and finding pleasure in the expressive nature of music.
