Will Yang, PT, DPT

Will earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Stony Brook University before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the College of Staten Island. During his graduate studies, he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and took part in clinical research focused on fine motor control of the hand and the early diagnostic detection of carpal tunnel syndrome. 

During his clinical rotations, Will gained hands-on experience across a wide range of settings. In his acute care rotation, he worked with patients managing cardiopulmonary, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. In outpatient orthopedic clinics, he treated a diverse caseload including chronic pain, neuromuscular disorders, post-operative recovery, and high-level athletes undergoing return-to-sport rehabilitation. These experiences strengthened his clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills, allowing him to effectively treat patients across the functional spectrum, from those with limited mobility to those aiming to return to peak athletic performance.

Originally from Long Island, Will is new to the Brooklyn area and always open to food or café recommendations. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active through running, rock climbing, playing/watching basketball, and working out, as well as relaxing with a good book, painting, or sleeping for 10 hours.
