Vidhi is from Queens, NY and attended Stony Brook University for her undergraduate degree. She earned her B.S in Health Sciences with a concentration in public health along with a second major in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in May 2025. During her time at Stony Brook, Vidhi participated in a variety of leadership roles and research opportunities. She was the captain of her campus dance team and spent time studying abroad in Madagascar conducting research regarding stigma around menstruation and its impact on menstrual resource accessibility.
During her clinical education experiences, Vidhi was able to see patients through the whole spectrum of settings, from acute care to outpatient facilities, with a myriad of diagnoses and conditions. Through this, she has been able to hone in her skills to set up her patients for their next level of care as well as set them up for success as they prepare to return to their daily activities.
Vidhi has always seen the value and importance of creating safe spaces in healthcare for people of all backgrounds and how important it is to provide safe, culturally competent care. The passion to advocate for those who are left out of their healthcare because of literacy gaps, backgrounds, and social barriers was what brought Vidhi into the field of pelvic floor physical therapy. She enjoys being able to equip her patients with resources through education and create a space where patients can open up about their specific needs. She truly feels that no topic is too much to share in a healing space.
In her free time you can find Vidhi traveling to new countries, spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and cheering on the New York Liberty, Knicks, and Yankees!
