Veronica Sevivas earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Medical College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Her academic training laid a strong foundation in human movement and rehabilitation sciences, which she has carried into her clinical practice with a commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.
Veronica specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine, treating a wide spectrum of patients ranging from competitive athletes to older adults. Her professional experience includes guiding individuals through post-operative rehabilitation, management of neurological conditions, and treatment of chronic pain syndromes. She is dedicated to creating individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address each patient’s unique goals, whether restoring mobility, preventing injury, or optimizing performance. Known for her attentive and compassionate approach, Veronica ensures that every patient feels supported and actively engaged throughout the rehabilitation process.
Outside of clinical practice, Veronica draws upon her background as a former collegiate soccer and lacrosse player to inform her emphasis on functional movement, athletic performance, and injury prevention. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, which allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys hiking, playing soccer, reading, and supporting her favorite sports teams. Her dedication to an active lifestyle reflects the same values of movement, health, and well-being that she promotes in her patients.
