Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Terresa Danzey, PT, DPT

Midtown - Plaza Hotel

Terresa became interested in physical therapy in high school as an athlete who was frequently injured and spent a lot of time in rehab. Her positive experiences in PT sparked a passion for helping others regain their independence and return to the activities they love. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brooklyn College in 2020 and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hampton University in 2025.

During her clinical rotations, Terresa gained valuable experience in both orthopedic and acute care settings. She completed a rotation in the cardiopulmonary ICU at Duke University Hospital, where she treated patients with complex medical conditions. In outpatient orthopedics, she worked with a wide range of post-operative and musculoskeletal cases, applying evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.

Terresa was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. A lifelong athlete, she played basketball at both the high school and collegiate levels, and also has a background in softball and boxing. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, spending time with loved ones, and exploring all that New York has to offer.
