Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Sung Hee Cho, PT, DPT

Forest Hills - Queens Blvd

Sung earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Hunter College, where she graduated with Honors, and went on to complete both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.

During her clinical affiliations, Sung gained experience in inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, and post-surgical rehabilitation, where she has worked with a diverse patient population across various stages of recovery. During her clinical affiliations, she strengthened her ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care. Sung is deeply committed to educating her patients, empowering them to better understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery. She believes in combining evidence-based practice with clear communication to help individuals overcome injury and pain—allowing them to return to the activities they love and live life without limitations.

Outside of the clinic, Sung is probably on a court, in a gym, or behind a coffee bar. A lifelong athlete, she has been playing volleyball for over 15 years and stays active with basketball, pickleball, and weight training. Every summer, you’ll find her competing in a local volleyball league—whether it’s concrete or grass, rain or shine. Off the court, Sung channels her creativity as a barista, where she loves handcrafting lattes, experimenting with new coffee recipes, and perfecting her latte art.
