Sienna earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton and her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. While pursuing her doctorate, she was elected President of the Physical Therapy Club, where she spearheaded PT awareness initiatives and community engagement events. Sienna graduated from the DPT program with multiple honors and awards, including recognition for her outstanding community service, having contributed extensive hours each year to the Leahy Clinic, Scranton’s pro bono physical therapy clinic. During her undergraduate years, she was an active member of the National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS) which is offered to less than 5% of students nationwide. Additionally, Sienna was a Sports Nutrition Intern within the Division I athletics department at Rutgers University, where she worked directly with the men’s and women’s soccer and lacrosse teams.
Sienna’s clinical experiences include a variety of inpatient and outpatient orthopedic affiliations that significantly expanded her expertise in orthopedic care, acute‑care rehabilitation, and return-to-sport programming. Most recently, she completed her final clinical rotation here at SPEAR. Across the two outpatient clinics and hospital settings where she trained, she treated a wide spectrum of patient cases—from post‑operative orthopedic injuries to sport-related overuse syndromes—refining her clinical decision‑making, manual therapy, and critical thinking skills. Sienna collaborated closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers, and physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans and optimize recovery outcomes.
Sienna has been an avid athlete throughout her life, beginning with tennis at the age of six, soccer at eight and later, lacrosse at fourteen. Sienna went on to play varsity soccer and lacrosse all four years of high school and continued her athletic career by competing in club lacrosse at Rutgers. Even after her academic years, she has remained active—weight lifting five times a week, playing in adult soccer leagues and embracing pickleball as a consistent hobby. When she isn’t competing herself, Sienna is a devoted sports fan, keeping up to date with hockey, football and soccer as some of her favorite sports to follow. Music is another major passion in her life. She is vocally trained in singing and is always eager to attend concerts or enjoy live performances whenever possible. Furthermore, Sienna cherishes cultural enrichment: she delights in traveling and cooking to explore and immerse herself in diverse customs.
