Shruti Mishra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai, India. She also attended St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India where she completed her Master’s degree in Life Sciences. After several years of experience with private patients and clinics in India, Shruti Mishra moved to New York City, where she has worked with a wide range of clients in four of the five boroughs. Beyond her formal education in India, she has also completed professional development courses in manual therapy techniques such as Mulligan, McKenzie, Maitland, Functional Mobilization from IPA, Soft-Tissue Mobilization using myofascial release, and Kinesio Taping.
Shruti specializes not just in injury recovery, but in optimizing overall body function and alignment. She consistently goes above and beyond for each patient to improve posture, correct muscle imbalances, guide muscle re-education and increase flexibility.
Shruti is also a Yoga practitioner and is trained in Indian Classical dance. She likes to participate in adventure sports whenever given a chance. In her free time she loves to spend time with family and be close to nature.
