Shreya Poojary, PT, MS

Born and raised in Mumbai, Shreya began her academic journey in healthcare with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), India. Driven by a deep interest in human movement and its role in long-term health, she pursued a Master’s in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo, USA. Her education has provided her with a strong foundation in clinical skills, research-based practice, and holistic wellness approaches.

Shreya has gained extensive hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, geriatric rehabilitation, and ICU care. Her work in outpatient rehabilitation, in particular, has played a key role in refining her assessment, treatment planning, and patient communication skills. She has also completed several professional certifications in ICU management, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and therapeutic cupping therapy, further enhancing her ability to deliver evidence-based and patient-centered care across diverse populations. To ensure she remains current with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy, Shreya engages in regular professional development. This commitment to ongoing learning enables her to provide the highest level of patient care possible.

Outside of her professional life, Shreya enjoys expressing her creativity through singing and painting. She has a love for travel and hiking, often seeking out new places to explore—especially those with scenic trails and ocean views, as beaches hold a special place in her heart. A passionate cook and food enthusiast, she enjoys experimenting with new cuisines and discovering unique culinary experiences. Shreya is also an avid reader who finds inspiration and relaxation in books. She is committed to making a positive impact on people’s lives by promoting active, healthy living through compassionate, personalized care.
