Sharmaine is a licensed physical therapist who is passionate about helping people take charge of their health and get back to the activities that matter most to them. She earned her Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Angeles University Foundation in the Philippines, where she was recognized as Best Intern during one of her clinical rotations and placed third overall in the Philippine national licensure examination. She later completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Montana.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient setting and home health in the Philippines. After moving to the United States, she served as the lead physical therapist in an outpatient clinic, where she treated a wide range of cases including orthopedic and neurologic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and postpartum care. Her approach is patient-centered and holistic, with a focus on restoring movement, building confidence, and improving quality of life.
Sharmaine believes physical therapy is about more than just recovery. It’s about making sure people feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. Her goal is to meet patients where they are, guide them with care, and help them return to the things they love feeling stronger, more confident, and more in control of their health.
She is currently completing her pelvic health certification and plans to pursue board certification as a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS). Sharmaine is especially passionate about supporting women with pelvic health conditions, from young athletes to individuals navigating changes across the lifespan, and is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for healing.
Outside the clinic, Sharmaine enjoys running, traveling, spending time in local coffee shops, and exploring different cuisines. She values curiosity, balance, and movement, and brings that same energy into the care she provides every day.
