Sangeeta earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from India before pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science from Long Island University, Brooklyn. She was born and raised in Mumbai, India, under the influence of her mother, who had been in healthcare for more than 35 years, which prompted Sangeeta to take up physical therapy in order to make a positive impact on people’s lives and to fulfill her desire to serve humanity. Her compassionate, empathetic and warm demeanor allows her to develop solid connections with her patients, laying the groundwork for effective treatment and rehabilitation.
During her clinical experience, she had the opportunity to immerse herself in both inpatient as well as outpatient rehabilitation settings, with an enhanced predilection towards orthopedic rehabilitation, and has worked with major Pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation cases. She believes that active patient participation and patient education are crucial elements of recovery. She favors holistic, patient-centered, evidence- based therapy techniques.
Aside from practicing physical therapy, she enjoys connecting with nature, devouring books, spending time with loved ones, and making art, with an affinity towards performing arts.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
