Rutvi Shah has completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Mumbai, India. While working with national and international athletes in India, she has developed a passion for strength and conditioning. Rutvi is currently pursuing MS Exercise Science at Long Island University, Brooklyn. She is also anticipating completing the NASM certification for corrective exercise specialist.
During her time in India, Rutvi has worked with international single’s tennis players, triathletes and marathon runners and ballet dancers treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. She enjoys working with the athletic and performing arts population. From the early age of 7, Rutvi underwent formal training in Indian Classical dance (Bharatanatyam) and Indian Folk dances. Performing arts has played a major role in shaping her personality and hence, when passion amalgamated with profession, she decided to pursue performing arts physical therapy as a specialization.
Rutvi continues to grow as a manual therapist and perfect my precision of manual therapy. She is also interested in pursuing ballet shoe fitting.
Rutvi enjoys exploring different dance forms and spends her free time attending workshops of different choreographers. Additionally, she enjoys cooking and hosting friends and family for festivals.
