Richard Kim, PT, DPT

Richard earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Binghamton University, where he was a Division I Track and Field athlete. His time as a student-athlete fueled his passion for human performance, injury recovery, and helping others achieve their full potential. He went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University, graduating with honors as a member of the National Physical Therapy Honor Society. 

Throughout his clinical affiliations, Richard gained experience in diverse settings, including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation, and a specialized vestibular therapy clinic. He has worked with patients across the lifespan, from children to older adults, treating musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and post-operative conditions, as well as guiding athletes through return-to-sport programs. 

As a clinician, Richard is dedicated to providing individualized care. He believes in meeting patients where they are, taking the time to listen, and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to play an active role in their recovery. His goal is not only to help people overcome pain and limitations but also to restore confidence, resilience, and a return to the activities that bring them joy. 

Outside of the clinic, Richard stays true to his active lifestyle. He enjoys playing tennis and volleyball, hiking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether on the court or on the trail, he carries the same energy and passion that he brings to his work with patients.
