Ria is a licensed physical therapist in the state of New York with a dynamic background in rehabilitative settings across both the United States and the Philippines. With over seven years of diverse experience, she has worked in post-acute brain injury rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility, outpatient clinics, homecare and high-performance athletic environments. Notably, she served as a Physical Therapist for professional volleyball and basketball teams in bubble settings during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating adaptability, clinical excellence, and dedication to athlete recovery and performance optimization.
Kat holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and is currently pursuing a Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Montana. Her certifications include Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management (AIB-VRC), Neuromuscular Therapy (Somatic Mobility+), and PWR! Moves for Parkinson’s Disease, along with being BLS-certified. Outside of her professional work, Kat enjoys trying out different cuisines, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and walking, as well as practicing yoga, pilates and animal flow mobility and strength training—interests that align with her holistic approach to wellness.
