Rachel earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University (Berks Campus) where she also played volleyball. She worked as a physical therapy technician in an outpatient clinic and then continued her education to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at CPCC in Charlotte, NC.
Throughout her clinical career, Rachel has worked in a variety of settings including: SNF, outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, home health therapy, and short term rehab. Rachel is passionate about providing patient-centered care to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals. She focuses on developing individualized treatment plans that fit the needs of each patient to help people get back to doing the activities that they love.
Rachel is new to the NYC area. She grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to Charlotte, NC in 2015 to pursue her PTA career and now she is excited to start a new chapter in her life here in Brooklyn. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active through walking/running and strength training, spending time with her husband and their two dogs, and exploring the city.
