Neil completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. Prior to attending Columbia, he completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Pittsburgh in Health and Exercise Science. Throughout his time at the University of Pittsburgh and Columbia, Neil gained valuable knowledge in working with various patient populations with an emphasis in Advanced Orthopedics.
Neil completed his clinical rotations in both inpatient and outpatient settings around New Jersey and NYC where he was exposed to a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric conditions. At Columbia, he also completed specialized courses in Cervicogenic/TMJ pain, Sports Rehabilitation, Foot/Ankle Rehabilitation, and Advanced Diagnostic Imaging. Neil’s passion for working with both the geriatric and adolescent population stemmed from a combination of past clinical experiences, taking care of his elderly grandparents, and being an avid athlete in his teenage years. He utilizes a holistic approach in treating patients which combines the use of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education and functional outcome measures to determine one’s prognosis. From his experience both in the classroom and clinic, he understands the importance of specificity when it comes to successful treatment as he strongly believes that no two patients are exactly alike although they may present with the same diagnosis.
In his free time Neil enjoys going to the gym, trying new food around the city, scuba diving the Caribbean, and spending time with family and friends. Outside of Physical Therapy, he has a strong passion for traveling and immersing himself in various cultures around the world.
