Mrunmayee earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Sigma Institute of Physiotherapy in Vadodara, India. She has extensive experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and also treating athletic patients on the field. She is also keen about research and has published a research paper on treatment of Anorexia Nervosa with the help of yoga.
Her clinical experience encompasses treating musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunctions, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological impairments and geriatric conditions with a special focus on fall prevention. Mrunmayee likes engaging with her patients to make them comfortable and to be a friend to them than just a therapist.
Currently, Mrunmayee is pursuing a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from LIU Brooklyn and is set to graduate in May 2025. She is also interested in pursuing certification in lymphedema therapy in the future.
In her free time, Mrunmayee likes writing poems , going on impromptu trips , and trying all types of desserts. She is enthusiastic about dancing and loves listening to old bollywood songs.
