Michael Santo, PT, DPT, received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2011 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Binghamton University in 2007. From a young age, his love of sports and passion for health and fitness guided him toward the field of physical therapy. Michael has always felt a strong sense of purpose in helping others live healthier, stronger lives, and his educational path reflects his commitment to blending clinical expertise with a practical understanding of human performance.
Since beginning his career, Michael has developed a reputation for his focus on orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation. His clinical approach emphasizes weightlifting, CrossFit, running, cycling, and preventative care models designed to help patients recover fully and reduce the risk of future injuries. He is particularly passionate about guiding athletes and active individuals back to the activities they love most, while also supporting everyday patients in improving function and quality of life. In addition to his clinical practice, Michael remains deeply involved in the local sports community, where he shares his knowledge and enthusiasm by coaching youth soccer and mentoring young athletes.
Outside of the clinic, Michael prefers to stay active and connected with the outdoors. He enjoys weightlifting, long walks, and spending time at the beach, which remains one of his favorite places to recharge. Whether coaching, training, or simply being outside, Michael’s personal and professional life are united by his belief in the value of movement, wellness, and helping others discover their full potential.
