Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Matthew Dolan, PT, DPT

Prospect Heights - Barclays Center

Matt obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree while attending Quinnipiac University where he previously received his Bachelors of Health Science with a minor in Psychology in 2018. He served as one of the class representatives for his cohort throughout his three years of graduate school, helping to act as the collective voice for his fellow colleagues. Matt was chosen to be an executive board member of Camp No Limits in 2019, a camp devoted to providing support, friendship, exercise, and education to children with limb differences. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Matt and his peers formulated a home exercise regime that resulted in improvements in lower extremity endurance when performing an upper extremity exercise program. The results of this study highlighted the importance and benefit of staying active, no matter the environment one is in.

During his clinical experiences, Matt has provided patient-centered care in a wide range of settings, from subacute inpatient to outpatient orthopedic clinics. Matt treated patients with various backgrounds and has experience treating multiple conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-operative cases, and post-COVID patients. Matt believes educating and working as a team with his patients are essential components to achieve their highest physical functioning to accomplish his patient’s goals.
