Mark earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. Prior to receiving his DPT, Mark attended The Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Movement Science Option. During his undergraduate studies, Mark spent time volunteering/working as a Physical Therapy Aide which further strengthened his passion for the profession as it gave him the opportunity to work closely with athletes as well as the general population and help patients achieve their desired goals.
In his doctoral program, Mark spent many of his clinical rotations in the outpatient orthopedic setting where he gained experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions in patients of all ages and athletes ranging from adult weekend warriors to the Division 1 collegiate level. Mark also spent a clinical rotation in the hospital setting working with acute stroke and traumatic brain injury patients in which he learned valuable skills and lessons that he applied to further outpatient orthopedic settings. Mark takes pride in his strong communication skills which helps him develop rapport with patients and tailor salient programs that help address patient specific goals.
During his free time, Mark enjoys golfing whether it be at the course, driving range, or his local simulator. Mark also participates in his hometown’s fall and spring softball league. When he is not participating in sporting events, Mark typically spends quality time with friends and family.
