Lisa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Before physical therapy school, Lisa earned her B.S. in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Through her education, she formed a particular interest in orthopedics and the musculoskeletal system.
Once working in the field as a physical therapist, she earned a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) for her extended study in joint and soft tissue manipulation. Lisa specializes in evaluation and treatment of a wide range of orthopedic injuries while incorporating her specialty knowledge in manual techniques for a hands-on approach as an adjunct to therapeutic exercise. She has experience working with a wide array of conditions including sports injuries in ex-professional and collegiate athletes to joint replacements, post-operative joint replacements, and concussions. Lisa believes physical therapy provides a vital service of health and wellness to the community. It is crucial to educate patients on their impairments and give them all of the tools to restore a healthy lifestyle.
When not in the clinic, Lisa enjoys taking her dog out to the park, riding her bike and doing pilates for personal fitness.
