Lexi is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where she majored in animal sciences with a minor in psychology. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree with high honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences- Austin, TX campus.
Gaining clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient pediatrics, and school-based care, Lexi discovered a passion for hand and upper extremity therapy. She gained experience as a hand therapist within the UCHealth network in Cincinnati, OH before returning to New York. Once eligible, she plans to sit for the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) exam and is working to incorporate animal assisted therapy in her practice in the future. Lexi values the importance of client-centered care and collaborating with patients to help achieve their individual goals.
In her free time, Lexi enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu and yoga, reading, and discovering different coffee shops and restaurants. She loves spending time in the community with family and friends, especially when it involves animals or watching sports.
