Lauren’s interest in physical therapy began when she saw her father going to PT for various injuries he incurred throughout her childhood, and her decision to become a physical therapist was solidified when she needed treatment for injuries she sustained as an athlete in the years following.
She completed her studies at Duquesne University, receiving her undergraduate degrees in Health Sciences and Biology in 2018, before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August of 2020. Originally from New Hampshire, she has lived in Pennsylvania, California, and Florida before coming to New York.
Lauren has treated patients under 1 year old, over 90 years old, and all ages in between! She appreciates the diversity that outpatient PT provides and is passionate about making PT exciting for everyone.
As a lifelong athlete, she loves being able to bring other athletes back to their respective activities. She also enjoys treating members of the armed forces due to the time she spent at Travis Air Force Base during her clinical rotations.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys weightlifting and combat sports, spending time with her cats, finding a good cup of coffee, and traveling.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
