Kiera earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Before moving to New York, Kiera completed her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Lincoln Memorial University in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, Kiera played indoor and outdoor volleyball at her university, where she received accolades for her academic and athletic performances.
Kiera gained clinical experience working with various neurological and orthopedic diagnoses including stroke, TBI, osteoarthritis, peripheral nerve injuries, and fractures. In addition she received specialized experience within vision rehabilitation and wheelchair seating and mobility care. Kiera plans to pursue her certification in Hand Therapy to combine her passion for treating sports injuries and injuries of the hand and upper extremity. Kiera is dedicated to cultivating therapeutic relationships that support patients in achieving their goals and engaging in meaningful activities.
In her free time, Kiera enjoys spending time with friends, reading, trying new restaurants, and playing volleyball recreationally. In the future Kiera would like to travel more both domestically and internationally.
