Khawlah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter college after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Peter’s University.
Khawlah’s clinical experiences in both outpatient orthopedics and inpatient acute care settings allowed her to treat patients with varying diagnoses and medical complexities. She also has experience treating patients with different athletic backgrounds from her clinical internship at Spear Physical Therapy – 70 Pine. During her clinical experience at Mount Sinai Hospital, Khawlah had the opportunity to treat patients recovering in the medical, transplant, surgical, and neurological ICUs. Khawlah’s treatment approach includes highlighting the patient’s goals and creating treatment plans unique to their needs.
During her free time, Khawlah enjoys playing basketball, baking, and making chocolate covered treats. She also enjoys volunteering with multiple charity organizations to help families in need and give back to her community.
