Josef received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in psychology from The City College of New York. Upon earning his Bachelor’s degree, Josef decided to further his education and pursue a career in physical therapy. Josef followed his bachelor’s degree with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Kingsborough Community College. Josef’s interest in physical therapy sparked as he spent his adolescence playing sports such as basketball and football, while intrigued with the rehabilitation of sport related injuries. While Josef was completing the coursework needed for his Associate’s degree, he spent time volunteering and working as a physical therapy technician in outpatient clinics
Throughout his coursework while in Kingsborough Community College, Josef has treated a variety of patients receiving physical therapy for neurological conditions, gait training using lower limb prostheses, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and orthopedics. Josef is a firm believer in continuing education and the importance of remaining up to date with current research to maximize patient outcomes.
During his free time outside of the clinic, Josef enjoys playing basketball, watching sports, attending attractions/restaurants within the city, visiting libraries & spending time with friends/family.
