Jia Lin earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College — Long Island. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, Jia Lin obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Health Science from Brooklyn College. During her time at Brooklyn College, Jia Lin served as the vice president of the badminton club.
During her time at Spear, Jia Lin gained a wide variety of experience treating post-operative and non-operative orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. It was there that she discovered her passion for treating sports-related injuries and decided to pursue further advanced clinical education. In 2024, Jia Lin completed a 12-month long Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship through Spear. Throughout her fellowship, she enhanced her knowledge in sports injury prevention, on-field acute injury management, and rehabilitation for athletes from diverse sports backgrounds, including swimmers, soccer players, and rugby players. In 2025, Jia Lin became a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) in Sports Physical Therapy.
Jia Lin values the importance of patient-centered care, which involves truly listening to patients’ stories and building strong relationships. She is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities that they love — whether that means participating in competitive sports or simply navigating daily life with confidence and comfort.
Jia Lin was born in China and spent her childhood there. She moved to the U.S at the age of 13. Outside of the office, you will see Jia Lin brainstorming her next trip, hiking, playing badminton, working on crafts, and capturing the surrounding beauty with her camera.
