Jia Lin earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College — Long Island. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, Jia Lin obtained her Bachelor of Art in Health Science from Brooklyn College. During her time at Brooklyn College, Jia Lin served as the vice president of the badminton club.
While completing her clinical rotations, Jia Lin gained experience in treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions in both outpatient and sub-acute settings. She found her passion for the orthopedic field during her clinical experience because she witnessed this specialty influencing patients’ lives in different aspects, including ergonomic correction, post-op recovery, and sports performance enhancement. Jia Lin values the importance of patient-centered care through listening to patients’ stories and creating a strong bonding with them.
Jia Lin was born in China and spent her childhood there. She moved to the U.S at the age of 13. Outside of the clinic, you will see Jia Lin running on the badminton court, exploring new places, and capturing the beauty of nature with her cellphone.
