Jess earned her BS in Athletic Training from Marist College and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro University where she received rigorous training in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. Her academic journey was complemented by her certification as an Athletic Trainer, which provided her with a deep understanding of athletic injury management and prevention.
Professionally, Jess has cultivated a distinguished career working across various high-impact environments. Jess completed her last clinical with the Tampa Bay Rays, where she played a pivotal role in optimizing athlete performance and facilitating return to throwing programs. Throughout PT school, Jess gained valuable experience as the Head Athletic Trainer in the Atlantic league with the Long Island Ducks baseball team. Jess also served as the assistant athletic trainer at Molloy university working with men’s basketball and women’s lacrosse. Additionally, her background in outpatient orthopedics has allowed her to assist a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative patients to dealing with chronic pain. Overall, Jess has an interest in treating all patient populations as she enjoys the diversity it brings her.
Outside of her professional life, Jess is deeply committed to maintaining a well-rounded and active lifestyle. As an avid runner currently training for a marathon, she enjoys the consistency that training for a race brings her. When not running, Jess enjoys reading, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
