Jeremy Klapper, PT, DPT, MS

Jeremy earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Masters in Clinical Health Science from the University of Delaware. While at Delaware, Jeremy competed clinical rotations in multiple settings, including the Delaware’s Sports and Orthopedic Clinic, Delaware’s Neurologic and Older Adult’s Clinic, Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital, Professional Physical Therapy, and with us here at Spear Physical Therapy. 

Prior to undergoing his doctoral coursework, Jeremy completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from the School of Kinesiology. During his time at Michigan, Jeremy was a member of the Michigan Running Club and a practice player for the Michigan Women’s Basketball Team during which the team made a competitive run to the semifinals of the WNIT his senior year. Although team-based sports and physical activity have been an integral part of Jeremy’s life, his passion for assisting individuals in their rehabilitation process began when he was at Michigan where he worked with local campus institutions to deliver soup to sick students. 

Jeremy utilizes therapeutic activity, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy techniques as needed to assist in his patient’s recovery. He recognizes that physical therapy is a process and is committed to providing the highest standard of care. Born and raised in NYC, Jeremy is eager to assist his fellow New Yorkers get back to doing what they want to do! 

When Jeremy is not in the clinic, you can find him running in Central Park, playing basketball and tennis, catching up with friends and family, and watching re-run episodes of Friends.
