Jasmine earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. During her graduate training, she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care through hands-on volunteer experiences. She volunteered at her campus Parkinson’s Center, assisting with Rock Steady Boxing classes for adults with Parkinson’s disease. As well with the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s summer camp, where she provided one-on-one care to children with muscular dystrophy in a residential camp setting. These experiences helped shape her patient – centered approach and commitment to helping individuals of all ages improve their function and quality of life.
After graduation, Jasmine worked as a travel physical therapist, an experience that allowed her to gain exposure to a wide range of clinical settings and patient populations. She has practiced in school-based therapy, subacute and acute care rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedic clinics, and orthopedic hospital settings providing post-operative care. Through this diverse background, Jasmine developed a well-rounded clinical skill set with a particular focus on neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation for both adults and children. She has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion care and is currently working toward a certification in this specialty, with an anticipated completion date of March 2026.
Outside of her clinical work, Jasmine enjoys staying active and creative. She loves hiking, sewing, reading, and taking yoga and Pilates classes. She also enjoys baking for family and friends and exploring new restaurants and cafés in her Brooklyn neighborhood. Jasmine brings warmth and care into every patient interaction, in order to create a supportive and individualized rehabilitation experience.
