Jim Beck is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping patients move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. Jim earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Long Island University–Brooklyn in 2020, following a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from CUNY Hunter College in 2016. He specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and injury prevention, and has pursued advanced training through the Titleist Performance Institute (Medical Level 3) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS & SFMA).
Jim provides individualized care to patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. He has extensive experience in manual therapy and therapeutic modalities such as IASTM, cupping, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, alongside exercise prescription and patient education. His work emphasizes thorough assessment—including gait, posture, balance, and functional capacity testing—to design treatment plans that restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve long-term outcomes. He is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals safely return to sport, with particular interest in golf rehabilitation and performance training. Jim also values mentorship, having supervised clinical students and guided them in evidence-based practice.
Beyond the clinic, Jim brings over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer, which informs his practical, strength-based approach to therapy. Personally, Jim is an avid golfer, Sunday league soccer player, and multiple-time marathon finisher. A lifelong musician, he also enjoys playing trumpet, guitar, and piano. His diverse background in athletics, fitness, and the arts allows him to connect with patients on multiple levels and inspire them to achieve their goals.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
