Jacob earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania. A proud native of Altoona, a small town nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania, Jacob brings both local roots and broad clinical experience to his practice.
Throughout his graduate studies, Jacob completed clinical rotations in diverse outpatient settings across New York and Pennsylvania. He also gained valuable experience working with medically complex patients during his time in the acute care department at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. His academic interests include return-to-sport criteria for athletes following ACL reconstruction, a topic he contributed to through clinical research.
Jacob is passionate about advocacy and served as the student liaison for the APTA West Central District, where he worked to support patients facing barriers to accessing physical therapy services.
An athlete himself, Jacob played football and volleyball in high school and continues to channel that passion into treating sports-related injuries across a variety of athletic populations. He emphasizes a proactive and collaborative approach to rehabilitation, tailoring treatment plans and prioritizing patient education to help individuals achieve their full potential.
Outside of the clinic, Jacob enjoys traveling, exercising, and staying up-to-date with the latest sports highlights. A lifelong sports fan, he can often be found playing, watching, or cheering from the sidelines—most recently adding golf to his list of hobbies. Above all, he proudly supports his alma mater: Go Red Flash!
