Imih (i-me) received her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Touro University and a bachelor’s degree in health science with a concentration in disability and human development at Stony Brook University. During her time at Touro University, her clinical experience included orthopedics, inpatient subacute care, and sports physical therapy. She was also able to do her last clinical affiliation at Spear prior to graduating.
Imih was exposed to physical therapy at a young age where her family owned a physical therapy clinic. Before she knew it, Imih grew a passion for the profession of physical therapy as she observed how much impact patient-oriented care physical therapy would provide. She watched as her mother and colleagues would connect with patients as they worked together to achieve and set new goals! As a track and field athlete in high school, a dancer on a college dance team, and someone new to volleyball, Imih understands how complex bodies are and how much TLC it sometimes demands. With that, Imih aims to provide holistic, evidence-based, empathetic care for her patients to reach their goals and do what they love to do.
She was born in the Philippines and grew up in New York City, spending most of her time as a city girl. Imih loves traveling, dancing, hiking, reading, crafting, photographing her travels/delicious food, creating content, going to amusement parks, exploring the city, and spending time with family and friends. She loves trying new foods and hobbies, and will always try something at least once before knocking it.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
