Holley attained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. Before earning her Doctorate, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Disabilities Studies at the University of Delaware. Holley’s journey toward physical therapy began with her background in gymnastics, where experiencing and overcoming her own injuries sparked a passion for understanding movement and the body’s resilience. This personal connection continues to shape her holistic and patient-centered approach to therapy, emphasizing not just recovery, but also long-term wellness.
Throughout her training, Holley gained experience across a range of clinical settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient orthopedics, and pediatrics. Each of these environments deepened her appreciation for the unique goals patients face at different stages of life. In acute care, she supported patients in regaining independence and mobility during critical recovery periods. In outpatient orthopedics, she focused on restoring function, building strength, and reducing pain to help individuals return to their daily routines. In outpatient pediatrics and school-based settings, she worked closely with children and their families to promote participation, development, and confidence in both academic and social settings. Holley completed a clinical rotation at Spear Physical Therapy, where she will be continuing her professional career, further strengthening her skills in collaborative, evidence-based care. Across all of these experiences, Holley emphasized patient and family education, believing that true progress comes from partnership and shared understanding.
Holley’s passion for pediatrics has been a guiding force throughout her life. She has worked with children in many different capacities and finds joy in helping them reach their fullest potential. She values creativity, play, and collaboration as essential tools in therapy, striving to build confidence and independence for both children and their families. At the same time, Holley’s personal background in athletics and clinical work in orthopedics has shaped her ability to design effective, individualized plans of care for each patient. Whether guiding a child through developmental milestones, supporting an athlete’s return to sport, or helping an individual restore daily function, Holley brings compassion, dedication, and enthusiasm for movement into every patient interaction.
