Het holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Long Island University–Brooklyn. Her academic journey reflects a strong dedication to blending clinical expertise with movement science, allowing her to design comprehensive, evidence-based rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs. 

A licensed Physical Therapist in New York, Het has completed all four levels of the McKenzie Institute’s Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) certification, a methodology she deeply values and actively integrates into her practice. This approach enables her to deliver precise diagnoses and targeted treatments for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, Het is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, skilled in hands-on techniques that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and accelerate recovery. 

Het brings extensive experience in orthopedic physical therapy, working with diverse patient populations to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. Her approach emphasizes structured progressions, detailed assessments, and empowering patient education. Additionally, her clinical acumen is enhanced by rotations in neuro, geriatric, pediatric, cardiopulmonary, and OB-GYN rehabilitation, which have shaped a well-rounded and adaptable treatment perspective. Committed to lifelong learning, Het has presented research on dry needling at academic conferences, staying actively engaged with emerging rehabilitation modalities. Beyond the clinic, she is passionate about educational and medical outreach, contributing her time to volunteer initiatives that promote community health. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Het finds joy in exploring the cosmos. Astronomy offers her a deep sense of perspective, reminding her of the interconnectedness of life and fueling her curiosity and compassion both personally and professionally.
