Evelyn earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy as well as her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She was awarded the Samuel B. Feitelberg Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence upon completion of her clinical studies, which included experience with outpatient orthopedics, neuro-rehabilitation, geriatrics, post-surgical and post-transplant care.
Evelyn’s interest in pursuing physical therapy as a profession came from her experiences teaching Gyrotonic and Pilates during her transition from her professional ballet career. She had a great desire to expand her knowledge of the human body and was driven to pursue ways of improving function in all individuals, not only her performing arts clientele. Currently, with her strong foundation in physical therapy and biomechanics, she is happily optimising function in her diverse population of patients. Evelyn is consistently seeking out opportunities to provide her patients with the best care possible by enhancing her manual therapy skills and actively participating in postgraduate education.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Evelyn taking a dance class, playing tennis, traveling to Vermont to go hiking, at a Rangers game, or enjoying a show at Lincoln Center or on Broadway.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
