Emma earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University. A competitive figure skater from the age of seven through her time in PT school, Emma became interested in physical therapy during her recovery from a skating related injury while she was in high school. It was her own experience in PT that led her to pursue a career where she could guide and support others in their rehabilitation journeys.
Emma had the opportunity to work with a wide range of populations during her clinical affiliations. These included working in different units in inpatient settings including the ICU, and with patients post-operatively, working with children with various neurological disorders, and in addition, treating diverse outpatient populations with a broad spectrum of orthopedic diagnoses. Emma also earned a certification in Rock Steady Boxing, a program designed to empower individuals with Parkinson’s Disease to partake in exercise and manage their symptoms through boxing. Emma is enthusiastic about having each patient reach their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Emma can be found coaching figure skaters of all ages and levels, trying new restaurants across the city, spending time with friends and family, and traveling to new destinations. She likes to stay active by finding new athletic challenges to pursue.
