Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Elana Levine, PT, DPT

Midtown - W 57th St

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Elana moved to Chicago and spent a year working as a rehabilitation aid at an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Elana then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, where she served as co-president of the Exercise is Medicine club to promote physical activity as the standard of care. In case you hadn’t heard it before, Elana’s here to tell you: Motion is Lotion!

Growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota, Elana is a true midwesterner and loves to participate in all winter sports. The only diamonds this girl cares about are double black! Along with Nordic skiing, she played ultimate frisbee and participated in a youth circus where she studied acts such as trapeze and walking tightrope. In addition to physical activity, she cares deeply about those around her and has always wanted a career in health care. As a physical therapist, Elana gets to apply her passion for kinesiology and physical activity to helping those around her. She has clinical experience in orthopedics, neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, and in the ICU of a level I trauma hospital. Elana is excited to bring her diverse clinical experiences to Spear!

In her free time, Elana enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, working out, reading and, most importantly, playing with her dog, Leo. Elana cannot wait to explore New York and find the best bagel in the city.
